Job summary

M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Springfield, VA. An active Top Secret clearance is required.

You will maintain network infrastructure, configure Cisco routers/switches and Firepower, and support NIST/STIG compliance. The role requires CCNP and 12–15 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on defense-in-depth and security engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12-15 years of experience.
• CCNP certification and Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience with LAN/WAN switches and firewalls and Cisco gear.
• Knowledge of NIST/STIG compliance and security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Supports the network infrastructure and performs maintenance and upgrades.
• Oversees cross-domain data transfer and policy implementation.
• Maintains configuration documentation and system recapitalization plans.
• Serves as SME for network infrastructure and firewall policies.
