Anakim Consulting Inc. is hiring a senior level Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain integrated enterprise networks for a federal customer. You will lead a team of engineers, analysts, and technicians to execute technical projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.

The role involves configuring ALE OmniSwitch, FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, Aruba ClearPass, and PKI solutions, with on-site operations at the Katherine Johnson IV&V Facility in West Virginia.

Qualifications

• Senior Network Engineer with design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise networks for a federal customer.

Responsibilities

• Perform ALE OmniSwitch administration: configuration, deployment, VLAN architecture, spanning tree, LAG, switch lifecycle.
• Manage/monitor switch infrastructure with OmniVista: templates, dashboards, alerts, firmware rollouts.
• Configure/maintain Fortinet FortiGate policies, routing, HA, security profiles for network segmentation.
• Utilize FortiAnalyzer for log aggregation, traffic analysis, security event correlation, compliance reporting.
• Design/manage 802.1X network access control policies using Aruba ClearPass (EAP-TLS) and PKI lifecycle.
• Lead, supervise, and direct a team of network engineers, analysts, and technicians on projects.
• Troubleshoot multi-layer network issues across switching, routing, firewall, NAC; maintain topology diagrams and SOPs.
• Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with IT teams on security, connectivity, infrastructure changes.
