Job summary

SouthState Bank, National Association is seeking a Network Engineer III to support, optimize, and modernize the enterprise network infrastructure across a regulated financial environment. You will lead medium-to-large projects, serve as a Tier III escalation resource, and collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure secure connectivity across a large footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent related experience.
• Eight (8) or more years of enterprise networking and/or telecommunications experience.
• CCNP Enterprise or equivalent certification preferred; CCIE highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Tier III escalation resource for complex network, wireless, WAN, voice, and telecommunications incidents.
• Lead medium-to-large infrastructure deployments, technology refreshes, network modernization projects, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Design, configure, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, wireless platforms, SD-WAN components, and supporting network services.
• Support enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless, voice, Genesys Cloud connectivity, and carrier transport services across a large branch and corporate footprint.
• Partner with Information Security and infrastructure teams to support network segmentation, access control, secure connectivity, and defense-in-depth network architecture.
