Job summary

Corient in Denver is seeking a Network Engineer to manage enterprise network infrastructure, including firewall policies, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless. You will deploy office networks, document designs, and collaborate with Security and IT teams to uphold high reliability and security standards.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of enterprise networking experience, Cisco Meraki expertise, and strong TCP/IP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5-7 years enterprise network infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki security appliances, switches, and wireless.
• Experience configuring enterprise LAN/WAN/VPN and wireless networks.
• Strong Layer 2/3 networking and VLANs, 802.1Q, inter-VLAN routing, and STP/RSTP/MST.
• TCP/IP, IPv4, DHCP, DNS, NAT, SNMP, NTP, SSH, and common protocols.
• Firewall policies, NAT, site-to-site VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Wireless networks: SSIDs, WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise, guest networking, troubleshooting.
• Rack & stack, cabling, patch panels, ISP circuit turn-up.
• Wireshark, ping, traceroute, and cable testing for troubleshooting.
• ISE (802.1X, RADIUS, NAC) and FTD/FMC basics.
• Ability to document networks and create SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage firewall policies, VLANs, routing and switching, wireless configurations, VPN connectivity, and monitoring.
• Participate in change management to maintain a reliable and secure network.
• Assist deployment of new office locations and network infrastructure projects.
• Install and configure network hardware, rack/stack, cabling, ISP validation, and standardized designs.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, End User Services; support ISE/FTD environments and improve network standards.
