Job summary

The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts Philly (POEA) seeks a Senior Network Engineer to sustain day-to-day network infrastructure and server operations while supporting IT HelpDesk as a Level 3 resource.

You will design and implement scalable networks, manage LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPNs, and cloud networks, and ensure security and PCI compliance. Strong troubleshooting and collaboration are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise network engineering.
• Strong routing, switching, and security tool knowledge.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking.
• Proficient with network monitoring tools; analytical focus.
• CCNP or higher is preferred; security certifications welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable, secure networks.
• Manage LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, and cloud networks.
• Configure devices: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers.
• Ensure security, PCI compliance, and incident response.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and report on network performance.
• Document configurations and procedures; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Lead incidents, participate in daily scrum; mentor juniors.
