Job summary

TekWissen LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Philadelphia, PA for a 6-month hybrid assignment. You will assess and redesign enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN, data center, and cloud connectivity, focusing on resiliency and security. Strong Cisco and SD-WAN expertise required.

The role requires translating technical findings into business risk and impact, with stakeholder-facing presentations and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience in networking and enterprise architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise switches and wireless APs.
• Expertise in VeloCloud SD-WAN design and deployment.
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN, data center and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, DC and hybrid/cloud connectivity.
• Review routing, switching, redundancy, convergence and failover design.
• Evaluate MPLS, Internet, VPN, SD-WAN and hybrid connectivity.
• Review wireless architecture for coverage, capacity, resiliency and scalability.
• Assess network security architecture, including segmentation, firewalls and IDS/IPS integration.
• Develop current-state and future-state architecture diagrams.
• Define target design principles around resiliency, simplicity, security, automation and scalability.
• Produce an Enterprise Network Assessment Report and Gap Analysis.
• Prepare and deliver an executive-level presentation of findings, risks and recommendations.

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Architect to conduct an end-to-end assessment of a mission-critical enterprise network environment.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Assess current-state enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center and hybrid/cloud connectivity.
• Strong hands-on architecture experience with Cisco enterprise switches and wireless Access Points.
• Strong knowledge of VeloCloud SD-WAN architecture and design.
• Review core, distribution and access-layer architecture, topology and segmentation.
