Job summary

TEKsystems in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless. You will ensure availability, performance, and security while supporting voice platforms and critical applications.

The role emphasizes collaboration with security, systems, and application teams, development of standards, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise TCP/IP networks.
• Hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience.
• Experience with Cisco ACI environments and MSO deployments.
• Experience with Layer 2/3 networks, VLANs, SVI, and migrations.
• Experience with VPN solutions including F5 APM.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and large-scale deployments.
• Experience supporting data center networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with Cisco tech.
• Configure routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Manage VLANs, VPNs, ACLs, wireless networks, and firewalls.
• Install and support network management/monitoring platforms.
• Support IP-based video and collaboration technologies.
• Develop standards, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with security, systems, and application teams.
• Troubleshoot complex network performance and connectivity issues.
