Job summary
Addison Group is partnering with a large healthcare organization in Chicago to expand its Network Engineering team as it modernizes its enterprise network. The Senior Network Engineer will troubleshoot and design enterprise networks, with hands-on Cisco and Juniper experience, across a large, highly available environment and new facility projects.
You will help build network infrastructure for hospital facilities, monitor performance, own technical projects, and participate in on-call rotations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience.
- Experience with Juniper networking and enterprise wired/wireless infra.
- Experience supporting large, complex or highly available networks.
- Cisco certifications and network monitoring, packet analysis, QoS, scripting are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
- Support Cisco routing, switching, wired and wireless networking across a large, highly available environment.
- Assist in Juniper-to-Cisco network migration and onboarding of devices.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless and connectivity issues.
- Provide network documentation, diagrams and standards; collaborate across teams.
