Job summary

DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) seeks a Senior Manager-Network Engineering to lead enterprise network initiatives. You will oversee architecture, implementation, and security for critical systems with 24/7 availability in the Dallas area.

The role requires extensive experience in network engineering, CCNA/CCNP preferred, and the ability to manage a Tier 2/1 team, coordinate change control, and support disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field.
• Five years of experience as a Network Engineer for enterprise networks.
• CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certifications preferred.
• Texas driver license and clean driving record per policy.
• Must pass drug screen and medical exam.
• Ability to work from remote locations as needed and in on-call rotations.
• Strong written/verbal communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and administer the enterprise network with 24/7 availability.
• Provide Tier 2 support and lead Tier 1 engineers on projects and outages.
• Monitor network performance and security; deploy DR and change management processes.
• Document network configurations and produce management reports.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and maintain IT documentation.
