Job summary

INNOVIM is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the Next Generation Environment (NGE) on the IRES contract. The role requires hands-on work with Nexus spine-leaf networks, NSX, F5 BIG-IP, Versa SD-WAN, and Infoblox DDI/IPAM.

On-site locations include Schriever Space Force Base, CO, Redstone Arsenal, AL, and Fort Belvoir, VA. You will implement Zero Trust controls, automation via IaC, and collaborate across government stakeholders and contractors to deliver secure hybrid cloud network

Qualifications

• 12+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
• 6+ years of directly related network engineering experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus NX-OS spine-leaf EVPN-VxLAN topologies.
• Experience with VMware NSX, Infoblox DDI/IPAM, Versa SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and administer Cisco Nexus (NX-OS) switches in spine-leaf topologies.
• Build EVPN-VxLAN networks and multi-site fabrics.
• Deploy VMware NSX components and micro-segmentation rules.
• Manage F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM and write/test iRules.
• Configure Versa SD-WAN edge appliances and secure transport.
• Automate deployments using IaC and scripting to ensure compliance.
