Job summary

World Wide Technology seeks a Senior Network Engineer with 8+ years in enterprise DoD networks to design secure routing backbones, deploy NGFWs, and implement zero-trust boundaries. You'll integrate telemetry into SIEM pipelines and support RMF/ATO packages.

You will build scalable, multi-site architectures, automate configurations, and ensure strict DISA/STIG compliance across enclaves and data paths.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
8+ years in enterprise network engineering and security in DoD/intel/government.
Bachelor’s degree or 12+ years experience in lieu of degree.
Expertise with BGP/OSPF/ISIS, VLAN/VXLAN, spine-leaf designs, and Nexus/Juniper/Arista hardware.
4+ years configuring NGFWs (Palo Alto/Fortinet/Cisco Secure Firewall) and zero-trust policies.
Experience with network visibility tools and sensors (Zeek/Suricata/Snort).
Strong knowledge of DISA STIGs, SCAP tools, RMF/ATO processes.
IAT Level II certification and a professional networking/security cert (CCNP/PCNSE/JNCIP).

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain multi-site routing, switching, and transport backbones for DoD environments.
Architect and manage NGFWs and zero-trust boundaries, with strict policy enforcement.
Build and sustain network visibility infra including TAPs, packet brokers, and sensors.
Align with SOC to route and analyze logs to ELK/Splunk/Kafka pipelines.
Document topologies, IP schemes, and RMF/ATO artifacts for compliance.
Develop automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs for config tasks.
