Job summary

FEDITC, LLC is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support DHS Wide Area Network initiatives, enterprise architecture, and the deployment of network services across DHS components. The role covers Cisco routing/switching, Cisco VPN, F5 GTM/LTM, Palo Alto firewalls, and proxies as part of modernization efforts.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents, producing design documents and diagrams, and supporting on-call rotations for after-hours changes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a relevant field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• CCNA certification desired; CCNP and CCIE are a plus.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network incidents, provide root cause analysis, and document in tickets and knowledge bases.
• Be part of the on-call rotation for network incidents and night CR implementations.
• Develop WAN network solutions with DHS components while complying with DHS standards.
• Create/write design documentation, diagrams and other project artifacts.
