Job summary

Acuity Brands, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, secure, deploy, and maintain highly available network infrastructure across on‑prem and Azure cloud environments.

You will work with LAN admins and security teams to ensure reliability and security while supporting distributed teams and remote work norms. Responsibilities include building secure network configurations, monitoring performance, and leading incident response to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure firewall rule base and secure network perimeters.
• Configure and connect LAN/WAN across sites and cloud.
• Troubleshoot network issues to minimize downtime.
• Allocate and manage IP addresses to avoid overlaps.
• Maintain firmware on switches, APs, and load balancers.
• Configure voice/Call Center systems as needed.
• Lead incident resolution and postmortems.
