Job summary

APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to architect, implement, and optimize our enterprise network across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will lead critical infrastructure projects, enforce security, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align networking with business goals.

Responsibilities include designing scalable routing/security solutions, managing hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure/AWS), and driving automation via scripting.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Cisco CCNA or higher; CCNP preferred; certifications in Palo Alto or Azure are a plus.
• Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, OMP) and SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and maintain on-premises, branch, colocation, and cloud networks (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, VTI, wireless, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Lead secure, scalable network solutions with high availability and disaster recovery.
• Lead network security design including firewalls, segmentation, and zero trust; monitor threats and collaborate with IT leadership.
