Job summary

Arrowstreet Capital, a Boston-based systematic investment firm, is seeking a Senior Networking Engineer to architect, design and implement the networking environment on the Infrastructure team.

The role requires extensive Cisco experience and hands-on work with LAN/WAN/MAN, Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto firewalls, and AWS networking. Strong IaC skills and ability to roadmap enterprise networking are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years on-the-job experience in routing and switching in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/MAN technologies.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus technologies and Palo Alto next-gen firewall platform.
• Experience with load balancing platforms (F5 LTM/GT M).
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Transit Gateway, AWS Network Manager, Route Analyzer, CloudWatch (>=1 year).
• Network Architecture experience including design, reference architecture, and design documentation.
• Experience with modern routing protocols.
• Designing and supporting hybrid networks leveraging AWS Direct Connect.
• Experience integrating on-premise and cloud provider networks.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco ISE.
• Proficiency with ACLs, TCP/IP, VLAN, QoS, IP routing.
• Ability to set long-term enterprise network goals and roadmaps.
• Strong communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and cloud networking in AWS/Azure would be assets.
