Job summary

Bain Capital is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Boston to design, deploy, and operate enterprise network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. You will manage connectivity, contribute to automation, and mentor junior engineers.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Aruba and Cisco technologies, with experience in incident response and cloud networking. The expected annual salary ranges from $130,000 to $155,000, alongside a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of enterprise networking experience in a hands-on engineering or operations role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Aruba and/or Cisco LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of dynamic routing protocols and Layer 2 technologies.
• Experience administering Check Point firewalls, including policy management.
• Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure networking.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language for automation tasks.
• Experience leading incident response and root-cause analysis for complex network issues.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of network infrastructure across global offices.
• Lead incident response for complex network issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage global carrier services and connectivity across regions.
• Design and implement network solutions for hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Collaborate with cloud teams for secure network integration and automation.
