Job summary

Wizards of the Coast in Boston, MA seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise network infrastructure across campus and branches, including Juniper Mist and Palo Alto firewalls, and to build resilient AWS cloud networking with VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect and Route 53.

You will automate configurations with Python and IaC (Terraform, Ansible), improve observability with streaming telemetry and cloud monitoring, and mentor teams while aligning

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise network engineering with hands-on Juniper (EX/QFX/SRX, Mist) and/or Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus).
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, and traffic engineering.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama; Checkpoint or Fortinet experience valued.
• AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect/VPN, Route 53) and CloudWatch monitoring.
• Linux basics, scripting in Python, API usage, and AI tooling (e.g., Marvis) to accelerate work.
• Analytical problem-solving and clear cross-team communication under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate Juniper Mist campus and branch infrastructure.
• Engineer and maintain the Palo Alto Networks security stack.
• Build and support AWS cloud networking and hybrid connectivity; manage WAN traffic with BGP/OSPF and SD-WAN.
• Automate network configuration and deployment using Python and IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible).
• Improve network observability with streaming telemetry, flow analysis, and cloud monitoring.
• Stay current on architecture trends and mentor teams across business and technology.
