Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks a Sr. Network Engineer to manage Plex Cloud Networks across private datacenters and Azure, emphasizing automation and redundancy. You will work in the Network & Firewall team, applying infrastructure as code to secure and scale our product offerings.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure, IaC experience with Terraform/Ansible, and strong routing/firewall skills in multi-region environments. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of time.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate networking infrastructure across private datacenters and public cloud.
• Provide network and remote connectivity support for internal and external customers.
• Design and troubleshoot multi-homed BGP architectures, DCIs, and SD-WAN connectivity.
• Perform root cause investigations and contribute to documentation.
• Maintain NGFW rule base for least-privilege access across zones.
• Deploy public/private cloud networks using infrastructure as code (GitOps).
• Collaborate with Security teams to maintain data/access security.
• Develop and maintain network and system monitoring solutions.
