Job summary

Abile Group, Inc. seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain classified and unclassified networks for an Intelligence Community customer in Lorton, VA. The role emphasizes high availability, security, and scalable LAN/WAN/Data Center environments.

You will lead deployment projects, coordinate with IA and engineering teams, and ensure adherence to DoD-style security practices. On-site work is required, with on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in technology related field with 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• IAT Level II baseline (Security+), Cisco and/or Juniper certifications preferred.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Cisco ISE for classified environments.
• Experience with 802.1X, AD PKI integration, and centralized policy management.
• MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB) implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing/switching and TCP/IP with security best practices.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage deployment projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages deployment of network solutions across multiple locations.
• Installs, configures, and tests network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Coordinates with engineering, deployment, IA teams for integration of network systems.
• Ensures secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant network designs.
• Creates project plans, tracks timelines, and mitigates deployment issues.
• Designs LAN/WAN/Data Center networks and related technologies.
• Troubleshoots network issues and maintains documentation.
• Provides on-call support for critical system emergencies.
• Mentors junior engineers and deployment staff.
