Job summary

Air Methods seeks a Senior Network Engineer to lead operation and management of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and Cisco Phone systems. Focus on high availability and security for business applications; oversee design, upgrade and support of Air Methods infrastructure.

Role covers 24x7, large distributed environments, disaster recovery, project leadership and vendor coordination, with extensive Cisco/Citrix and Windows server experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5–8 years of related experience.
• Advanced Microsoft server experience including Windows, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, OCS.
• VMware production experience; large Citrix XenApp farm experience; EMC CLARiiON SAN management, Data Domain, Avamar, RecoverPoint, dedup technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and troubleshooting of routing and switching enterprise technologies in complex networking environments.
• Lead administration of security technologies such as firewalling, VPNs, and IDS/IPS with HIPAA/SOX/PCI compliance.
• Develop, implement and maintain network policies, procedures and disaster recovery training plans.
