Programmers.io is seeking a senior network engineer in Fort Lauderdale to oversee enterprise networks, including routing, switching, SD-WAN, and security.

You will work hands-on with Cisco IOS-XE, Catalyst/Nexus, BGP/OSPF, QoS, and network automation tools such as DNAC and ISE, delivering reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Applicants should have 7+ years of experience and strong practical knowledge across L2/L3, VLANs, VRFs, HSRP/VRRP, and SD-WAN/Viptela.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise routing and switching.
Advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS-XE and Catalyst switching platforms.
Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, QoS, and Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting.
Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC).
Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Cisco ISE, including RADIUS, 802.1X, MAB, EAP‑TLS, authentication, authorization, and Active Directory integration.
Hands‑on experience designing and supporting Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela, including vManage and centralized/localized policies.
Experience with Cisco TrustSec/SGT.
Hands-on experience with Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms.
