Job summary

Glidewell-Laboratories in Irvine, CA seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to analyze, design, and manage our enterprise network infrastructure. You will configure Cisco routers, switches, APs, and controllers, implement SD-WAN, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires a BS in CS or related field, 8+ years of Cisco experience, and CCNP certification (CCIE preferred). Experience with VMware/Docker/AWS, IaC and Python/Ansible is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• Minimum eight years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
• CCNP certification required; CCIE certification preferred.
• SD-WAN experience preferred; SDN experience preferred.
• Experience with VMware and/or Docker and/or AWS environments preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of IaC and/or NaC preferred.
• Experience with Python and Ansible preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, architects, designs, configures, installs, and manages enterprise network equipment.
• Mentors junior network engineers.
• Ensures network meets PCI and HIPAA compliance.
• Provides on-call support to bring production systems to operation.
• Performs configuration management using Ansible, SolarWinds and other tools.
• Maintains network documentation and participates in Agile/Scrum processes.
