Job summary

Latitudeinc is seeking a Senior Network Technician to lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise networking across data center and campus environments. You will deploy switches, routers, firewalls, and access points, document rack layouts, and manage VLANs and routing with strong TCP/IP skills.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with engineers and vendors, and participate in on-call maintenance, ensuring performance and stability after deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in network support
• Hands-on experience installing and maintaining switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and routing concepts
• Experience with enterprise networking platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Juniper, Fortinet)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
• Experience in data center, campus, or multi-site environments
• Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, and deployment of network hardware across environments
• Perform rack-and-stack, cabling coordination, labeling, and documentation
• Configure and support LAN, WAN, WLAN including VLANs and routing
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across wired and wireless
• Support upgrades, migrations, and hardware refresh projects
• Validate network performance and post-deployment stability
• Maintain network diagrams and asset inventories
• Serve as escalation point for network issues
• Mentor junior network technicians
• Collaborate with engineers, systems teams, and vendors
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance

This role is highly hands‑on and focuses on deploying and supporting network hardware such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points across multiple environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to mentor junior staff and take ownership of network deployments and troubleshooting efforts.

• Lead installation, configuration, and deployment of network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Perform rack‑and‑stack, structured cabling coordination, labeling, and equipment documentation
• Configure and support LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments, including VLANs, trunking, and routing
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across wired and wireless environments
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and hardware refresh projects
• Validate network performance and ensure stability post‑deployment
• Maintain and update network diagrams, asset inventories, and technical documentation
• Serve as an escalation point for network‑related issues
