Job summary

OneMain Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design and operate campus, wireless and data center networks across multiple locations.

The role focuses on wireless engineering, campus networking, and high-density data center infrastructure, using Arista gear and Ekahau AI Pro for design and validation. You will influence network architecture, wireless design standards, and long-term infrastructure improvements, while gaining exposure to enterprise campuses and data centers

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying enterprise Wi‑Fi networks.
• RF planning, site surveys, and post-deployment validation.
• Configuring Arista wireless access points and switching.
• Ability to document network architecture and fiber connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, deploy, and maintain enterprise Wi-Fi networks using Arista access points across multiple campus locations nationwide.
• Perform RF planning, predictive design, wireless site surveys, and post-deployment validation using Ekahau AI Pro.
• Configure and manage Arista wireless access points and Arista switching infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, roaming behavior, interference, and performance issues in an Arista wireless environment.
• Design wireless networks that support seamless roaming, high client density, and latency-sensitive applications.
• Conduct post-deployment validation and periodic wireless health assessments across campus environments.
• Support and maintain data center switches and routers; work with high-density fiber connectivity and structured cabling in the data center; document patching in the CommScope FACT ODF system.
• Assist with network architecture, segmentation, and traffic optimization within the data center; ensure connectivity between campus networks and core data center resources; monitor network health across both environments.
