Job summary

Empire Livestock LLC. seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure across multiple sites. You will work with the Network Manager and Lead Network Engineer on system rollouts, upgrades, and security enhancements.

The role requires analyzing user needs, translating requirements into robust network designs, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with partners to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years Network Engineering experience.
• CCNP certification required.
• Proven ability to learn and implement new software/hardware quickly.

Responsibilities

• Consult with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
• Manage complex network projects from beginning to end including refresh and infrastructure projects.
• Translate business requirements into network designs and solutions.
• Collaborate with a group of network engineers delivering new solutions to support manufacturing networking.
• Mentor junior network engineers/operations to enhance skills.
• Design and deliver network infrastructure to support new and existing initiatives.
• Maintain security and monitor performance across platforms.
