Kforce has a client in Boca Raton, FL seeking a Network Engineer to design, administer, and optimize enterprise networks spanning on-prem data centers and Microsoft Azure. You will handle LAN/WAN, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switching, and Cisco UCS, ensuring robust security and reliability.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong routing (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP), Azure networking (VNets, peering, VPN Gateway), NetApp storage connectivity, and thorough documentation.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in network engineering or administration.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switching.
• Hands-on Palo Alto firewalls, policies, NAT, and VPN.
• Experience with OSPF, EIGRP, or BGP.
• Storage networking experience, ideally NetApp.
• Knowledge of Azure networking services (VNets, peering, VPN Gateway, NSGs).
• Strong TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS/DHCP, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network monitoring and performance tools.
• Excellent documentation and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, monitor LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud networking.
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls, policies, NAT, VPN.
• Design and support Azure VNets, peering, VPN Gateway, NSGs.
• Configure Cisco Catalyst/Nexus and UCS Fabric Interconnect.
• Support BGP, OSPF, EIGRP in multi-site network.
• Maintain site-to-site IPSec VPNs with partners.
• Support NetApp storage networking and replication.
• Monitor network performance with enterprise tools.
• Perform incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Create network diagrams, IPAM records, and runbooks.
• Assist with hardware install, cabling, security, reviews.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations.
