Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and Azure environments. You will partner with internal teams and vendors to deliver secure, scalable connectivity and continued reliability for healthcare operations.

The role involves securing network policies, leading lifecycle activities, and providing advanced troubleshooting, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and influence

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise networks.
• Experience with LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, firewall, cloud networking, and Azure.
• Strong collaboration with internal teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls, secure remote access).
• Configure, deploy, and support network hardware, software, and services (routers, switches, APs, firewalls, cloud networking components).
• Design, deploy, and support Microsoft Azure networking services (VNets, subnets, routing, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS).
• Maintain firewall policies, network segmentation, and access controls with InfoSec and infra teams.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation for complex incidents, outages, and performance issues.
• Monitor network health, capacity, utilization, availability, and performance trends; recommend improvements.
• Administer IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, and related services.
• Lead or support network lifecycle activities (hardware refreshes, upgrades, patching, change planning).
• Partner with vendors, circuit providers, MSPs, and internal teams to install and maintain connectivity.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, configurations, standards, runbooks, and docs.
• Translate business/technical requirements into secure, scalable network solutions.
• Serve as SME in architecture reviews, design discussions, and product recommendations.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to team members.
