Job summary

Pennant is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our network across multiple locations and in Azure. You will work on security, cloud integration, and monitoring to ensure reliable healthcare service infrastructure.

You will design scalable architectures, replace firewalls with Palo Alto where needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with Palo Alto and Azure.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, VPN technologies, and firewall configurations.
• Experience designing networks over multiple regions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust network security solutions using Palo Alto products.
• Utilize tools for network access control and policy enforcement with Aruba Clearpass.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Deploy high availability firewalls with load balancers for uptime and resiliency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate on-premises and cloud systems.
• Implement and configure network monitoring tools with Solarwinds and Netbox.
• Design scalable network architectures for 260+ locations and use BGP for routing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors; document configurations and SOPs.
• Respond to incidents with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
