Mirantis, Inc. in Silicon Valley is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and operate the internal AI labs network and the broader company infrastructure.

The role requires on-site work at a Silicon Valley datacenter and collaboration with IT, Security, and engineering teams. You will own data center fabric, rack/cabling, cross-connects, and network security baselines, while enabling high-throughput GPU/AI workloads, cloud interconnects, and reliable enterprise connectivity across

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in a Network Engineering role.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating switching and routing in datacenter/colocation environments.
• Experience with firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Comfortable working on-site in a datacenter and coordinating remote-hands or contractors.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid connectivity (AWS interconnects, VPN, SD-WAN).
• Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform) is a strong plus.
• On-call rotations and incident management experience.
• Strong understanding of security fundamentals and least-privilege access.
• GPU/AI cluster networking experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 / ISO 27001 or similar frameworks is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate the network for AI labs and scale as demand grows.
• Own datacenter and colocation infrastructure, including network fabric, racks, cross-connects, and cabling.
• Provide hands-on server/hardware support on-site as needed.
• Manage corporate and campus networking across offices, colo, and cloud interconnects.
• Establish standards, runbooks, and architecture documentation; automate configurations and network operations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response, with post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and engineering teams to ensure security and reliability.
