Job summary

COCC invites a Network Architect to design, implement, and maintain an enterprise-level network using Arista, Cisco ACI, Velocloud SD-WAN, VMware NSX, and cloud networking in Azure and AWS. Lead complex projects and provide technical leadership across network platforms.

The role requires 8–10 years of network experience, strong scripting (Python, Ansible), and expertise in monitoring tools like Grafana and Splunk, with cloud connectivity expertise and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred but will consider experience/certs.
• 8–10 years of experience in network engineering or architecture.
• Proven track record designing and supporting enterprise-level networks.
• Experience with Arista, Cisco ACI, Velocloud SD-WAN, VMware NSX, and Linux-based appliances.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF.
• Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk).
• Cloud networking in Azure/AWS with hybrid connectivity.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Industry certifications (CCNP, CCIE, CISSP) preferred.

What you’ll bring…

• Strong knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)
• Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk)
• Cloud networking experience in Azure/AWS with hybrid connectivity
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Industry certifications (CCNP, CCIE, CISSP) preferred

Salary range is $102,600-$154,000 per year
