Responsibilities

• Architect, engineer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks (multi-vendor but Cisco-heavy, multi-site, dense with technology). This includes network security.
• Lead root cause analysis for outages and performance issues.
• Engaging teams with other expertise on relevant projects and systems.
• Communicate issues clearly to teammates and leadership and collaborate on resolution.
• Mentor less-senior engineers and technicians.
• Deep understanding of layer 4 and below.
• Expertise and experience with an array of the hardware/software that are primarily associated with those layers: Route/switch, Firewalls, VPNs, SDN, and plenty more.

• The likely salary range for this position is $190,000-$280,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, and contractual agreements and could fall outside of this range.
