About the Company

Join a leading Oil & Gas operator driving digital transformation across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. You will play a pivotal role in integrating enterprise IT, operational technology (OT), and cloud infrastructure to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance networks.

This senior role is mission-critical, supporting connectivity across corporate offices, industrial plants, and offshore facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust, highly available network infrastructures spanning corporate and operational technology environments.
• Lead LAN/WAN and SD-WAN initiatives, ensuring secure and resilient connectivity for enterprise and OT systems (SCADA, DCS, PLCs).
• Collaborate with OT teams to integrate industrial control networks into corporate IT securely.
• Implement advanced network security measures: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust frameworks.
• Automate network configuration, monitoring, and management using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex network performance and latency issues across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
• Maintain and optimize subsea or remote network links where relevant, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Document network architecture, standards, policies, and operational procedures for compliance and continuity.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience in enterprise or industrial networks.
• Expertise in routing and switching protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, VLANs, VXLAN.
• Strong experience with network security devices: Cisco ASA/Firewalls, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar.
• Specialized Skill: Proven experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting industrial/OT networks, including SCADA/DCS, PLCs, Modbus, OPC, or similar industrial protocols.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly desirable.
• Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools: NetFlow, SNMP, Wireshark, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Relevant certifications: CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or cloud networking certifications.
