Ledgent Technology is seeking an experienced IT/OT Network Engineer to design, secure, and support the network behind critical OT systems. The role covers ICS/SCADA/DCS environments with hybrid cloud elements and a focus on cybersecurity.

You will design, implement, and maintain Layer 2/3 networks, VPNs, and remote site connectivity, while documenting environments and ensuring segmentation and high availability. A strong background in industrial networking and Azure is required.

• Strengthen OT cybersecurity through access controls, firewall management, and security best practices.

• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories.

Are you an experienced Network Engineer with a passion for industrial technology, cybersecurity, and complex network environments? We're seeking an IT/OT Network Engineer to design, secure, and support the network infrastructure behind critical operational systems. The Operational Technology (OT) Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing the network infrastructure that supports Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), remote field operations, and critical infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Design, configure, and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise or industrial networking experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and industrial networking.
• Experience supporting remote connectivity and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Experience documenting complex technical environments.
• Understanding of industrial cybersecurity and network segmentation.

Preferred Experience

• SCADA, PLC, DCS, or Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
• Critical infrastructure industries such as utilities, renewable energy, manufacturing, oil & gas, or water/wastewater.
• VMware or Hyper-V.
• PowerShell or Python scripting.

• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
