Title: Sr Network Engineer

Location: Tempe, AZ (Remote to start)

Duration: 1 year

We are seeking a Sr Network Engineer with strong experience in Cisco and Aruba networking. The ideal candidate will have expertise in multi-site management, WiFi management, and retail public and corporate network management.

MINIMUM SKILL SET

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, PHP, JavaScript, and UNIX shell scripting, along with git SCM.
• Extensive experience as a Network Engineer across multiple vendor platforms, especially Cisco IOS and SD-WAN (Viptela).
• Experience in user interface design, primarily web-based.
• Moderate proficiency with image editing tools like Gimp, Photoshop, or similar.
• MySQL DBA skills.
• Linux system administration.
• Basic Windows system administration.
• Technical writing skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and enhance a suite of internally developed network management tools.
• Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues related to software, OS, database, network, server, hardware, and cloud systems.
• Collaborate with Cisco on SD-WAN deployment issues, including bugs, security, inventory, and enhancements.
• Manage Linux server infrastructure: configuration, deployment, updates, backups, security, and access control.
• Fix bugs, add functionalities, and develop new tools.
• Create responsive and efficient user interfaces.
• Develop documentation for diverse user backgrounds.
• Automate large-scale network management tasks such as configuration updates and data collection.
• Follow peer review and change control processes.
• Perform QA on all changes, including regression and edge case testing.
