Job summary

The Villages is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join the Network Engineering Team. The role focuses on implementing and supporting enterprise networking solutions while delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Full-Time, Onsite position in Florida. Visa sponsorship is not available. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k/ROTH, PTO & Holidays, Life & AD&D, and Charter School eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with two-year college or trade school, or five years related experience.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks for design and installation.
• CCNP R&S, CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Wireless, or CWCCE preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and comply with vehicle safety program.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Unified Communications architectures across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Assist migrations from CUCM to Webex Cloud Calling.
• Architect and deploy Webex Contact Center solutions (call flows, IVRs, routing, integrations).
• Develop high-availability and disaster recovery strategies for UC platforms.
• Configure and manage CUCM, Unity Connection, IM&P, Webex Calling, and Webex Contact Center.
• Build and troubleshoot dial plans, route patterns, trunks, PSTN connectivity, and call routing.
• Administer Webex Calling environments (provisioning, dial plans, devices, performance).
• Provide advanced escalation support for voice and contact center issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for call failures, quality issues, outages.
• Monitor health, capacity, and metrics (MOS, jitter, latency).
• Implement and support Webex Contact Center routing logic, scripting, queues, and reporting.
• Lead migrations from CUCM to Webex Calling with minimal downtime.

Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", this position is responsible for participating as a member of the Network Engineering Team with the primary focus of the position being to implement and support enterprise networking solutions. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Unified Communications architectures across on-premises and cloud communication environments.
• Assist leading migrations from Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) to Webex Cloud Calling.
• Architect and deploy Webex Contact Center solutions including call flows, IVRs, routing strategies and integrations.
• Develop high-availability and disaster recovery strategies for Unified Communications platforms.
• Configure and manage Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, IM & Presence, Webex Calling & Webex Contact Center.
• Build and troubleshoot dial plans, route patters, route lists/groups, sip trunks, PSTN connectivity, call routing and translation patterns.
• Administer, configure, and maintain Cisco Webex Calling environments, including user provisioning, dial plan management, device deployment, and ongoing performance and issue resolutions.
• Provide advanced escalation support for voice and contact center issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for call failures, quality issues, and outages.
• Monitor system health, capacity, and quality call metrics (MOS, jitter, latency).
• Implement and support Webex Contact Center including call routing logic, scripting, agent profiles, queues, and reporting.
• Lead or support migrations from On-prem Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) to Webex Calling ensuring minimal downtime and seamless cutovers.
• Implement secure voice architectures ensuring compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
• Configure and support 911 configurations, recording, and call accounting.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two (2) year college or technical school; or five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
• Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• CCNP R&S, CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Wireless Certification, or Cisco Webex Contact Center Expert (CWCCE) preferred.
• This position is subjected to The Villages Vehicle Safety Program and its policies as it requires the use of personal vehicles for company business.
• A Valid Driver's License with a record acceptable to company standards is required for this position.
