Job description

Join to apply for the Senior Network Developer role at Oracle.

Supports the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environment (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI). Focuses on development and support of network fabric and systems through deep understanding of networking protocols and programming skills to automate operations. The role involves managing hundreds of thousands of network devices supporting millions of servers over a mix of backbone infrastructure and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Participate in network lifecycle management, including build and upgrade projects.
• Collaborate on milestones and deliverables with project managers.
• Develop and execute network change procedures, creating new procedures as needed.
• Serve as technical lead for team projects and contribute to roadmap development.
• Lead the creation of runbooks and procedures, mentor junior engineers.
• Participate in network solution and architecture design, develop standalone features.
• Support operational rotations, provide break-fix support, and lead root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with automation services, develop scripts for routine tasks, and serve as SME on automation projects.
• Support vendor software bug fixes and collaborate with vendors and QA teams on firmware and OS updates.

Qualifications

Note: US roles may require compliance with health mandates. Salary range in the US is $87,000 - $178,100/year, with potential bonuses and equity.
