Join to apply for the Senior Network Developer role at Oracle Database.

Supports the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environment (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI). Focuses on network fabric and systems development and support, requiring deep understanding of networking protocols and programming skills for automation. This role involves managing hundreds of thousands of network devices supporting millions of servers over dedicated infrastructure and the Internet.

Responsibilities include:

1. Participating in network lifecycle management, build, and upgrade projects.
2. Collaborating with project managers to develop milestones and deliverables.
3. Using existing procedures to develop and execute network changes, and developing new procedures when necessary.
4. Serving as a technical lead and mentor for junior engineers.
5. Participating in network solution and architecture design.
6. Developing features, supporting operational rotations, and providing break-fix support.
7. Leading post-event root cause analysis and coordinating with automation services for support tooling.
8. Developing scripts for automation and serving as SME on network automation projects.
9. Supporting vendor software bug fixes and collaborating with vendor and internal teams for bug resolution and firmware/OS qualification.
