Job summary

Meta is seeking a Network Deployment & Support Engineering lead to join the team responsible for planning and executing network deployments and migrations to build large-scale AI backbone network infrastructure. In this role, you will own the deployment planning, implementation, and scaling of Meta's AI network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Network Engineering in production environments.
• Experience with AI-enabled deployments to improve reliability, quality, and speed.
• Design and deployment of large-scale data center networks.
• Leadership of cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and optical transport.
• Experience with enterprise and provider-level network hardware platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic planning with roadmaps for growth and transformation.
• Lead the technical strategy and execution for ENS projects in deployment and migrations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve shared goals on capacity and reliability.
• Provide design, deployment, and migration contributions on large programs.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across deliverables.
• Deploy, migrate, and support global production network (edge, backbone, DC).
• Manage vendor relationships, including contracts and partnerships.
• Manage partner engineering relationships to meet business needs.
• Mentor and onboard new team members to raise deployment capabilities.
• Demonstrate leadership and collaboration within the team and organization.
• Travel 10%–30% as required.
