Job summary

Fortis Construction, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator in Portland, ME to maintain core IT systems, both on-premises and in the cloud. You will govern Azure/M365, Entra, SIEM, and licensing while managing network devices and office data circuits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a systems administration role.
• Experience with administering Entra and M365 platforms.
• Experience with administering Google Workspace platform.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to run and execute technology implementation projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of different teams across the business.
• Capable of learning large, complex systems in a short time frame.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer core IT systems, including on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Azure/M365 governance, Entra, SIEM, resource groups, and licensing.
• Oversee network devices, DHCP/DNS, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, and ZTNA.
• Administer data circuits for offices and jobsites (Circuit Management).
• Handle Endpoint Management: Patch, Intune, and PIM.
• Maintain enterprise apps, SaaS platforms, SharePoint, Teams, and Google Workspace.
• Create network and data flow diagrams and system architecture docs.
• Support cybersecurity reviews, audits, remediation, and defense-in-depth initiatives.
