Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Network Automation and Tool Integration Engineer to design, build, and deliver end-to-end automation for enterprise network and IT platforms. You will connect Python and Ansible workflows with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and various integration points across Cisco, Splunk, ServiceNow, and more.

You will develop reusable Python services, REST API integrations, Ansible workflows, and CI/CD pipelines to transform manual tasks into scalable automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and implements enterprise infrastructure technology platforms across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains.
• Applies automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure.
• Manages infrastructure engineering projects and processes aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve infrastructure standards and processes.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Supports compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Reviews and guides infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Provides technical guidance to lower‑level technical professionals.
• Develops technical solutions with deep analysis of infrastructure systems and leads infrastructure processes.
