Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Network Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer to architect, deploy, and optimize complex on‑premises infrastructure supporting mission‑critical operations. This highly visible leadership role focuses on automation, reliability, and scalable solutions across Linux‑based platforms and multi‑vendor networks.

The position requires deep SDN knowledge, extensive routing experience (BGP/MPLS), and hands‑on Linux administration.

Qualifications

Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure in on‑premises and datacenter environments.
Advanced expertise with Cisco, Arista, VyOS, and other enterprise networking platforms.
Deep knowledge of routing technologies, including BGP, with MPLS experience preferred.
Strong understanding of SDN concepts and Linux‑based routing architectures.
Advanced Linux systems administration experience.
Proven experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management, with Ansible strongly preferred.
Hands‑on experience implementing firewalls, ACLs, and network security controls.
Demonstrated success designing and deploying complex, large‑scale infrastructure solutions.
Ability to independently manage multiple projects and drive initiatives to completion.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise on‑premises data center and remote‑site networks.
Lead multi‑vendor network deployments and lifecycle management.
Administer Linux‑based systems underpinning network and infrastructure services.
Implement network security controls, firewalls, ACLs, and secure routing.
Drive automation and infrastructure modernization using Ansible/AWX.
Develop documentation, architecture diagrams, and inventory records.
