Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Network Development Team to design, build, and maintain networking software powering our GPU cloud.

You will develop in Python and Go, build automation tooling, and collaborate with Network Engineering, Observability, and HPC teams to automate and operate our network at scale.

The role requires 8+ years in production software engineering, strong CI/CD, and a passion for accelerating AI compute.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production infrastructure, platform, or backend systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
• Solid CI/CD experience including testing, code review, and automated deployments.
• Strong understanding of runtime health management for services at an enterprise level.
• Experience with workflow automation/orchestration systems and automated device provisioning at scale (e.g., Zero Touch Provisioning).
• Excellent written communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and long-term health of platforms/services that automate the network, including config generation and device provisioning.
• Plan complex projects months in advance with multiple parallel workstreams.
• Lead technical direction via RFCs, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Write well-tested, well-documented software in Python and Go with strong CI/CD practices.
• Improve reliability and operability by defining SLIs/SLAs and reducing manual toil through automation.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Observability, Fleet Engineering, and HPC teams.
