This senior role focuses on routing, switching, SD-WAN, and data center networking, with leadership responsibilities and collaboration with security teams. Expect on-site work with occasional travel to remote sites and after-hours on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering or architecture is highly preferred.
• Expertise in routing, switching, SD-WAN, and network security is essential.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise and data center networking technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a technical leader and mentor for the Network Operations team.
• Designs and implements short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure network capacity meets business needs.
• Designs scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures for enterprise demands and continuity.
• Builds governance through standards, policies, and best practices to drive efficiency and growth.
• Acts as technical lead on complex network projects including data center deployments and cloud connectivity.
• Develops testing methodologies and reports network performance to stakeholders.
• Provides Tier III support for escalated enterprise network issues.
• Conducts root cause analysis of outages and implements preventive measures.
• Creates and maintains documentation for network configuration and service records.
• Maintains cybersecurity best practices and collaborates with security teams.
