Job summary

SarelaTech seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency on the I3TS contract. You will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring security, resilience, and alignment with Zero Trust architecture while collaborating with government partners and mentoring junior staff.

Role requires active TS clearance, DoD background, and hands-on work with routing, security appliances, and Unified Communications.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Network Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; 8–12 years experience, or Master's with 6–10 years.
• DoD 8570/8140 baseline certs (Security+ and CCNA).
• Proven enterprise network infra experience in DoD or federal environments.
• Experience with routing/switching (BGP, OSPF), NGFW/IDS/IPS, and load balancing.
• Experience configuring Cisco/Palo Alto equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust network infrastructure for enterprise systems.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs for secure connectivity.
• Manage Unified Communications including CUCM for voice/video.
• Lead complex network projects: upgrades, migrations, deployments.
• Implement NAC with Cisco ISE and Zero Trust principles.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot latency, improve stability.
• Configure and manage BGP/OSPF routing.
• Triage TACLANE cryptographic encryptors and Agile VLAN security.
• Produce thorough network diagrams and docs.
• Ensure security policies and scalability align with mission needs.
