Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a senior Network Architect/Engineer to design, deploy, and support DoD network and security architectures in hybrid environments. You will apply routing, switching, IP engineering, ZTNA, and Zero Trust principles to build secure, scalable networks and guide a team of engineers.

Applicants should have 5+ years designing within DoD environments, experience with multi-vendor platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, VMware, Dell/HPE), and a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, deploying, and supporting network and security architectures within DoD hybrid environments
• Experience implementing and configuring network segmentation and micro-segmentation, including SDN, container networking, and virtualization
• Experience documenting complex network and security architectures, procedures, and troubleshooting workflows including ZTNA implementations
• Experience designing and architecting enterprise network and cybersecurity solutions within DoD hybrid environments
• Experience supporting defense programs, standards, or mission requirements, including Zero Trust initiatives

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise network and security solutions for DoD environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to increase security, reliability, and availability
• Analyze current infrastructures and guide modernization efforts
• Apply Zero Trust principles and ZTNA implementations across networks
• Advise clients on multi-vendor platforms and best practices
