Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Zero Trust Enterprise Architect to design and implement secure network architectures for DoD missions. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle from planning and design to deployment, integration, and operations, combining backbone networking with cloud security and Zero Trust principles.

The role requires 8+ years in network engineering and cybersecurity in DoD or federal environments, plus 2+ years in designing and deploying secure architectures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity within DoD or federal environments.
• 2+ years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting network and security architectures, including Zero Trust implementation.
• Experience architecting and implementing Zero Trust solutions aligned with DoD Zero Trust strategy and target-level frameworks.
• Experience documenting complex architectures, supporting defense programs, and delivering secure, scalable solutions.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management, micro-segmentation, endpoint security, and secure network or cloud architecture.
• Experience working within classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, integration, and operationalization of Zero Trust architectures aligned with DoD strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate objectives into robust network and security solutions.
• Oversee full lifecycle of network systems—planning, acquisition, design, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance.
