Job summary

MTSI is seeking a Network Architect for a full-time role at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. You will configure, install, and maintain mission networks to support the Air Force Advanced Aircraft Division, liaising with government partners and contractors.

The role requires 5+ years of networking experience, cloud design, and a TS/SCI clearance. Travel up to 25% CONUS may be required, with multi-vendor firewall and routing expertise essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of networking experience.
• Cloud networking design experience.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, spanning-tree, subnetting, routing protocols and routing system design.
• Experience in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).
• Extensive design experience with OSPF, BGP, port-channels, firewalls, DMVPN.
• Proficient with network tools: Ansible, Wireshark, NMS, NetFlow/IPAM, SDN.
• Linux experience and basic Git/version control familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Must have 5+ years of experience.
• Design cloud infrastructure for networking.
• Exhibit expert knowledge of TCP/IP, spanning-tree, subnetting, routing, ACLs, VPN, NAC, and firewall architectures.
• Operate in a multi-vendor environment (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).
• Work with OSPF, BGP, port-channels, DMVPN, and network fabrics.
• Utilize tools such as Ansible, Wireshark, NMS, sFlow/NetFlow, IPAM, and SDN.
• Communicate complex network solutions to technical and non-technical staff.
• Be a self-starter with strong personal responsibility.
