Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Network Architect to define and evolve the secure, scalable network architecture supporting engineering, manufacturing, autonomy development, and enterprise operations. You will lead from strategy through implementation, partnering with Cybersecurity, Facilities, and various engineering teams to ensure robust, compliant connectivity.

Responsibilities include designing for multi-site LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud interconnects, and security controls, while advancing IaC

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering and architecture across complex, multi-site environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience leading network architecture from requirements and design through implementation, validation, and handoff.
Ability to create architecture diagrams, reference designs, and implementation guidance.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain enterprise network architecture, standards, roadmaps, and reference designs.
Architect scalable LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, and data-center solutions across a globally distributed environment.
Lead architecture reviews, evaluations, and design decisions for strategic network initiatives.
Advance automation and infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform, Ansible, Python.
