Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Network Architect to define and evolve a secure, scalable network architecture that supports engineering, manufacturing, autonomy development, and enterprise operations.

As part of the Cloud & Infrastructure team, you will set strategy, standards, and reference designs for offices, labs, data centers, and cloud environments worldwide, while hands-on leading complex deployments and collaborating with Cybersecurity, IT, and Facilities teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering and architecture across multi-site environments.
• Experience leading network architecture from requirements to operational handoff.
• Expertise in routing, switching, wireless, WAN, VPN, segmentation, and high availability.
• Experience with AWS and Azure networking, including cloud transit and private connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise network architecture, standards, roadmaps, and reference designs.
• Architect LAN, WAN, data-center, VPN, SASE, and security solutions across a globally distributed environment.
• Lead architecture reviews and design decisions for strategic network initiatives.
• Advance network automation and infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform, Ansible, Python, APIs.
• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation guidance.
