Job summary

Rocketdyne seeks a Principal Network Engineer to own the enterprise network architecture across five sites, overseeing LAN, wireless, and WAN/SD-WAN design. You will set QoS standards, ensure wireless consistency, and coordinate with outsourced delivery partners to maintain security and performance.

You will also lead zero trust integration at the network layer and drive the TSA exit migration from legacy infrastructure, aligning with ITAR/DFARS and CMMC requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in network engineering/architecture roles
• Deep hands-on expertise across LAN switching, wireless, and WAN/SD-WAN
• Experience designing and implementing SD-WAN architectures
• Experience with packet shaping/QoS design for mixed traffic
• Experience implementing zero trust network access (ZTNA)
• Working knowledge of ITAR/DFARS network segmentation & CMMC requirements

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end network architecture across five sites (LAN, wireless, WAN/SD-WAN)
• Design and maintain SD-WAN architecture, including local internet breakout
• Define QoS standards to prioritize latency-sensitive traffic across the WAN
• Set enterprise wireless standards consistent across all sites
• Design and implement voice networking including Teams Phone and SIP trunking
• Lead and manage outsourced network delivery partners and review deliverables
• Drive TSA exit migration by replacing inherited network infrastructure
